Michael Cufaro

Michael Anthony Cufaro passed away on Monday March 24th at Humber River hospital following complications from a recent heart attack. Dad was 92 years young. Michael was a loving and dedicated husband for over 70 yrs. to his wife Virginia. Dad lived his entire life for her; daughter Barbara; son Michael and his wife Kerri; granddaughters Chelsea and Courtney; his daughter-in-law Jody. Michael also leaves behind his beloved brother Don. Dad was an amazing person, wonderful husband, father and grandfather who was not only dearly loved by his family but his friends and band members alike. Dad has been a musician for 78 years, playing Alto sax, clarinet and flute. He played actively up to the age of 90. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday April 15, 2014 from 1-2:00 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm.
