Peacefully, on Sunday October 14, 2012 at the Georgetown Hospital. Merna, in her 96th year, wife of the late Nelson Oliver. Loving mother of Patricia Sharpe (the late Lloyd). Loved grandmother of Merna (Dave) Prete, Sherry (Peter) Farago and Nancy (Mike) Sprague. Great-grandmother of Nathan (Sarah), Michelle, Adrianna, Nicholas, Marcus, Max and Lucas and great-great-grandmother of Willem. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 7 brothers. The family would like to thank Dr. Farragos and the nurses for their excellent care.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Tuesday from 7-8 pm and on Wednesday from 12:30 -1:30pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 1:30pm. Interment Zion Hill Cemetery, Thamesford, Ontario on Thursday October 18, 2012 at 11:00 am.
