Maurice O'Connell

It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of Maurice (Moe) Adrian O'Connell, age 58 on August 21, 2025, at the Milton District Hospital. He died surrounded by love and light, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Andrea, of 34 years and their two sons, Keiran and Liam O'Connell and his granddaughter, Ivy, as well as his brother Cornelius (Nancy) and extended families here in Canada, the USA, and Ireland. He is predeceased by both his parents, Anna and Cornelius O'Connell.

A memorial service and reception will be held at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L0P 1H0. Visitation is on August 27, 2025, from 6-9 pm and August 28 from 11am-12pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12 pm, followed by a reception. He will be laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4H 4Y8.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to either the Milton District Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
