Jacob, Maureen Elizabeth (nee Hale) - It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved wife and best friend, Maureen in her 73rd year, on Monday December 9th 2013 at the Toronto General Hospital. Survived by her husband, for 49 years, Brian Jacob. Loved and cherished by her sisters Annette (Raymond) Armstrong, Pauline (Gordon) Padbury and her brother Anthony (Susan) Stobart. Sadly missed by her nieces Sarah and Emma and by her nephews Anthony, Stephen, James, Jonathan and Joshua. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Zelma (Thomas) Malley and their children Lisa (Anthony) Wade and Dawn (Raymond) Dorney. Great aunt of Alicia, James and Emily. Maureen received a kidney transplant 41 years ago on her 32nd birthday and we will be forever grateful to the donor family for this precious gift. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at University Health Network for their loving care. At Maureen's request there will be no service. Cremation has taken place.
