Maureen Fariello

Maureen Fariello - Peacefully surrounded by her family in Georgetown on Monday September 25th , 2023, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of 69 years to Antonio Fariello. Cherished mother of Carlo Fariello (Karen) of Georgetown, Laura Par (John) of Barrie and Adam Fariello (Lisa) of Orangeville. Dear Nana of 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Maureen was a London Cockney where she met Tony on February 9th , 1952 and two years later, they married on June 6th , 1954. One day Tony said to Maureen “Do you want to go to Canada?”, she replied “When?”. On March 7th, 1957, they arrived in Toronto.

The family will receive friends at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, Ontario, L7G 4S4 on Monday October 2nd , 2023, from 5-8 p.m.

In memory of Maureen, donations to the Georgetown Hospital, 1 Princess Anne Drive, Georgetown, ON L9T 2B8 would be appreciated.
