Mary "May" Rita Waters

Waters (nee Wilton), Mary Rita "May" - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Coleman Care Centre, Barrie, surrounded by her loving family. May, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late James Waters (1999). Loving mother to Judy (Mike) Travers, Jim Waters, David Waters, Janet (Keith) Marsh, and Suzy Waters. Cherished grandma of Erin (Brian), Michael (Odette), Josh, Vanessa (Brandon), Jacqueline (Matt), Brad, Jim, Jenna (Dayne), Neil, Daniel, Elisha (Jason), and great grandma of Jack, Ryan, Sasha, Marshall, Dylan, and Adler. She is lovingly missed by her sisters-in-law Rose, Margaret and Barbara. May is predeceased by her siblings Frances, Roger, Bill and Iva, and she will be dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends and family will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A funeral will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. A celebration to honour May's life will be held in the summer of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated.
