Peacefully, on Friday June 6, 2025 at the Georgetown Hospital. Mary, in her 91st year wife of the late Hank Russell (2014). Loving mother of Dorothy (Bruce) Niven, Cindy Crawford-White (Lary White), Carol Telford, Judy (Nick) Theriault, Jamie (Sue) Russell and the late Laura Miceli (2001). Predeceased by son-in-law Doug Crawford (1994).  Loved grandma of Doug (Laura), Andy (Amanda), Angela, Mike (Holly), Jeff (Terra), Rocky (Lucie), Lisa (Blair), Chris (Anita), Leslie (Justin), Ashley, Nicole (Cory), Daniel and step-grandma of Jenne (Randy), Stephanie, (Greg), Chantal, Lisa and Marie. Great grandmother of 14 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Eleanor (the late James) Muise. Mary was predeceased by her sisters Doreen and Helen and by her brothers Richard, Robert, Charles, Gordon, David and James. Mary was a member of Branch #120 Royal Canadian Legion for over 40 years and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for over 55 years. Mary will be forever remembered by her family for her love of politics, having a good time and for the tremendous love that she had for her family.

Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at 1 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Reception to follow at Branch #120 RCL.
