Mary Alice Lutley

Lutley, Mary Alice (nee Smith) 1923 to 2021
On March 12th, Mary passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord. She was married 66 years to her beloved husband Roy who predeceased her in 2014. Mary was a devoted mother to Don (Betty), Tom, Marilyn (John) and Paul (Karen), beloved grandmother of Cameron (Alma), Mike (Kirsty), Rebecca, Jeff (Caitlin), Sarah, Amy, Bryan (Cait) and Kendra, and great-grandmother of Logan, Serena, Brynn, Colton, Matthew, Samson and Seth. Mary was a sister of the late Helen Pearcey (2015) and the late Bill Smith (2009).
Mary was always interested in the lives of family and friends and used her gift of hospitality to get to know and serve others. We will miss her bright smile, her ready laugh and her faithful prayers.
We're grateful to Dr. Fenty for her care and concern for Mary particularly during these past few months.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. A private service will be held in the chapel on Friday March 19, 2021 at 12 noon. Interment Glenview Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Memorial donations to the Rexdale Gospel Hall or Brampton Gospel Hall would be appreciated. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a limited number of people are permitted to be in the funeral home for each half hour visitation period. Please call the funeral home to register for the visitation by 2 p.m. on Thursday.
