Mary Jane Hoare (nee Young)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Mary Jane Hoare, age 86, on Tuesday evening August 21, 2012 at the Georgetown Hospital. Mary, a long time resident of Georgetown, sister of Peggy Swanson of Detroit and predeceased by sister Joan Irwin. Mary was married to the late Charles Robert Hoare who passed away on May 3, 1981. Loving mother to 10 children; Jane of Brampton, Steve (Pat) of Georgetown, Barbara of Cobourg, David (Jeanette) of Georgetown, Douglas of Georgetown, Richard of Georgetown, Catherine (Jerry) of Peterborough, Susan of Georgetown, Christine of Burlington and Charles of Georgetown. Mary also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all and will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday August 25th from 7-9 p.m. and again on Sunday August 26, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service held in the chapel at 12:00 noon. Cremation to follow.
