Mary Hartley

On September 11th, Mary Stella Hartley passed away peacefully at her home, in the loving presence of her children.

Mary was the beloved daughter of Polish immigrants, Rozalia and Szczepan Kaczorowski, and Nicholas Mazepa (stepfather).

Mary was the adored wife of Wm. Douglas Hartley (2014) for 55 years. Mary was cherished mother to Theresa, Michael

and Rosemary. Mary was devoted grandma to Stephanie and Curtis; she was a very special Babcia to Alina.

Mary was a dedicated Grade One teacher at Holy Cross Catholic School in Georgetown for many years.

Mary was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Why they didn’t have a hotline from the dugout to her sofa was a mystery;

they might have won more games with her direction. Mary was a devout Catholic. A private funeral mass will be

held at a later date.
