Clare, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" - With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Betty at her home in Georgetown, in her 77th year, on Wednesday November 27, 2013. Dear mother of Jamie (Kathleen) of Parry Sound, John (Kristine) and Joe (Barb) of Georgetown. Loved, cherished and proud grandmother of Jennifer, Stefanie, Liam, Reece, Ayden, Elysha, Nicholas, Riley and great-grandmother of Marcus, Maxwell and Makailey. Fondly remembered by her sister Ann (Robert) Webster and her brother Ted (Phil) Humphreys and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Freda Humphreys and her sister Jeannine Cook. Born in 1937 in the village of Stewarttown, Betty lived her entire life in the Georgetown area and had numerous friends and aquaintances. Near and dear to her heart was her best friend Joan Hayes. Her last 10 years were spent with new friends at her Kin Court Residence. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Monday from 2-4 &-7-9 pm. Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday December 3, at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place.
