With deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing, on Wednesday November 28, 2012 at the Georgetown Hospital. Myrt, at the age of 90, loving wife of the late A.R. Rod MacDonald. Loving mother of Corinne, Karen (Rick) and Cathy (Wayne). Loved grandmother of Connie, James, Blake and Bradley and great-grandmother of Mikayla, Kyle, Kirsten, Camden and Kaitlyn. Dear sister of Rita McCartney. Predeceased by her sisters Joan, Juliette and Lucille and by her brothers Rosaire and Gerrard. She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her and will be remembered for her love of life.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church (14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown) on Saturday December 1, 2012 at 9:00 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
