Marshall Lewis Stull

November 1, 2019 — November 25, 2020

In loving memory of Marshall Lewis Stull June 30th, 2019- November 25th, 2020 With deepest sorrow, we announce that Marshall Lewis Stull, in his 2nd year, went to be with angels on Wednesday November 25th, 2020. Marshall loved his family very much and is survived by his Parents: William Stull and Pauline Lamers, his Grandparents: Grandpa Hans and Grandma Liz Lamers, Grandpa Rick and Grandma Sally Stull, his Great Grandparents: Great Opa Johannes Lamers, Great Grandma Alma Stull, Great Grandpa Ron Wright, Nanny Marg and Poppy Ray West, his Aunts and Uncles: Jonathan and Zuza Lamers and Samantha and Evan Stull, his Cousins: Theodore and Nicholas Lamers, and his Great Aunts and Great Uncles: Diane and Allen Elliot, David and Connie Wright, Rob Lamers and David and Leslie West. Predeceased by Great Oma Annelise Lamers and Great Grandma Helen Wright. Marshall had the most beautiful smile that radiated from his sparkling blue eyes. He smiled from the first morning after he was born. He had a peaceful, sweet, and kind nature. Everyone commented that he was the happiest baby they ever met. Marshall loved spending time with his Mommy and Daddy. He enjoyed cuddles and kisses and experienced a whole lifetime of kisses in his short 16 months with us. His favourite places to be were in Mommy's arms and on Daddy's shoulders. Marshall loved his dog Rucker and his cat Dorothy. Rucker loved to give Marshall kisses almost as much as Mommy and Daddy did and Marshall would kiss Rucker right back. Marshall loved "air-plane" rides with Grandpa Rick, walks with Grandma Sally, hugs from Grandma Liz and park visits with Grandpa Hans. Marshall loved to be outside. He enjoyed many hikes with Mommy and Daddy, and loved to play outside at his house, crawling through the grass, reaching up to touch the leaves on the trees, or the petals on the flowers, and smiling at the sunsets. Marshall loved music. He enjoyed a variety of artists from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Raffi but his favourite musicians were his parents. He loved listening to his Daddy play the guitar and his Mommy sing Twinkle Twinkle. Marshall loved the water. He enjoyed very warm baths, floating at the Baby Spa, swimming lessons at the Milton pool, splashing around in his water table on the porch, crawling through the sprinkler, and dipping his toes in the ocean in Florida. Marshall loves God. He was baptized in November 2019 and enjoyed going to church with Mommy and Grandpa Hans. He loved listening to prayers, church songs, and stories from his children's Bible. Marshall loved to read. His favourite books were "I Love You Through and Through", "Guess How Much I Love You", "I Love You Forever", and "The Little Blue Truck". He loved to pick his favourite books from his bookshelf and book bin and would choose his favourites over and over again. Marshall's first word was Mama but his favourite word was Dada. He loved to laugh, especially when playing peekaboo, chasing Mommy and Daddy, and making silly sounds. Marshall has the most loving, joyous, unique spirit. He is our miracle, and in his passing, he became a miracle for other families as well. Marshall gave the gift of life through organ donation. He is a hero, an angel, and will be with us always. Marshall is our sunshine and our gift from God. We will forever be grateful for every moment we spent with him. Donations to McMaster Children's Hospital and SickKids Hospital are welcomed in Marshall's memory. A private family service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home
