With great sadness we announce his passing from cancer on Thursday, January 22, 2015. Beloved husband of Francika and loving father of daughter, Terezija and son Bozo. Loving grandfather of Velimir, Kristian, Davor, Tihana, Leo and Marko. Survived by his sister Iva. Marko will be dearly missed by many extended family and dear friends here in Canada, U.S and in Croatia. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Monday January 26, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Holy Rosary will begin at 8pm. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church at the Croatian Centre in Norval on Tuesday January 27, at 10:00 am. and burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery at 6933 Tomken Road, Mississauga, . Marko was a man of strong faith who raised his children in the Croatian Catholic spirit. He was a man of great generosity and integrity who will be greatly missed. We are saddened by this loss.
