BURROWS, Mark Wallace- Mark W. Burrows of Georgetown, Ontario, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Ontario. Passionately devoted husband of Sarah (nee Bryant) for 30 years and exceedingly proud father of Bryce, Christian and Thomas. Faithful son of Anna Burrows and the late Bryce Cyrus Burrows of Guelph, Ontario, who he missed every day. Sorely missed by Sarah's family - Marjorie Bryant of Georgetown and the Steinberg family of Toronto. Born March 17, 1959 in Guelph, Ontario, Mark graduated from the University of Guelph and became a Professional Engineer, working predominantly in the plastics industry for most of his career. In 2010 he realized his dream of walking to work when he helped form Harvester Energy Canada, working with Halton Hills Hydro to introduce solar energy to The Town of Halton Hills. Mark had a passion for world travel, home renovation and landscaping, his wine collection, cooking, skiing and British television series. He had a never ending thirst for knowledge of all kinds, including politics, science, and all things engineered. Mark was a man of his word and had an unwavering sense of integrity, even when it hurt him personally. He will be missed more than he could ever imagine. Visitation will be held at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905)877-3631, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, 60 Guelph St, Georgetown, on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 1pm. Reception to follow at Georgetown Thai Cuisine, 76 Main St. S., Georgetown. Interment will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills would be appreciated.
