Peacefully, on Monday September 30, 2024 at the Georgetown Hospital.  Marge, in her 88th year, beloved wife of Bill for the past 65 years. Loving mother of Mark (Debbie), Bob and Joanne (Brad). Loved Grandma of Brogan (Rob) and Connor. Great Grandma of Maggie Jo. Dear sister of Marie Peardon. Marge thoroughly enjoyed travelling, camping, playing golf and bridge.

Everyone that ever-met Marge felt her kind spirit and gentle grace immediately when in her presence. She had a unique, quiet way of making others feel cherished and loved. Marge was like a precious pearl. Like this valued gemstone, and object of beauty, known to be something rare, fine and admirable; that's what Marge was to her family and friends. Marge will be forever remembered by her family as a kind, caring and loving person and for her wonderful sense of humour.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Upper Credit Humane Society would be appreciated.

Friends are welcome to join in celebrating the lives of both Bill and Marge on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown. Visitation will commence at 10:00 a.m., and a reception in the Trafalgar Room will follow the service.

The family would like to thank the Complex Transitional Care Team at the Georgetown Hospital for their exceptional care that they provided to Marge.
