Marjorie Florence MacLachlan (1921-2013),
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie MacLachlan on Monday May 27, 2013 at the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener. She leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Donald Gordon (Dick) MacLachlan and her daughters Linda (Harry) Kubas and Sandra (Gary) Lewis. Cherished grandmother of six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Marjorie was full of life and leaves behind many fond memories. She will live in our hearts forever.
In every life there comes a time to walk in shadows and sunlight
To hear silence and song
To shed tears of sadness and of joy.
To forget what has been taken and remember what has been given
How fortune we are that in our hearts we keep forever the memories of those we love and the time we shared together.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Thursday May 30, 2013 from 12:00 noon until time of Memorial service held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Club of North Halton (363 Maple Ave., Georgetown).
