Marjorie Thelma Allan

Allan, Marjorie Thelma (nee McEnery) - Peacefully with her family, at the Bennett Centre in Georgetown. Marj, in her 86th year, devoted and loving wife of the late Kenneth Allan. Cherished and much loved mother of Connie (Dave) McMenemy, Larry, Gayle and Gwen (Hessel) Faber. Loving grandmother of Lindsay, Richard, Dianne, Heather, Liz, Abygaile, Cameron, Michael and Jill. Great grandmother of 11. Dear sister of Bill (Jean) McEnery and sisters-in-law Betty (John) Ware and Joyce Flewelling. Aunt Marj will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews as well. Many will remember Mom from her years with Ken working in and managing a grocery store on Georgetown's Main St., originally Carroll's, then Superior Food Market. Following that, she worked for 20 years in the insurance business.
Mom also enjoyed time with friends curling and golfing at North Halton.
The family is thankful for the care mom received in recent months at Mountainview Residence and later the Bennett Centre.
A private funeral will be held.
