Marion Briggs

Briggs, Marion (nee Malcolm) - Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2015 at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre, Mount Forest at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Frederick, mother to June Payne (Grant) of Caledon, Ann Connor (Lionel-deceased) of Brampton and Bill (Chris) of Georgetown. Dear grandmother to Steven, Peter, Kelly, Shelley (deceased), Katie, Elizabeth and Jamie. Great grandmother to Michael, Taryne, Mason and Logan. Marion emigrated to Canada with her family in 1952 moving to the village of Limehouse. She resumed her nursing career at Brampton and Georgetown hospitals later working with Dr. Chamberlain and Dr. Kennedy in Georgetown. As per mothers wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and interment with the immediate family will be in April at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown.
