Passed away Monday March 18th in Brampton Civic Hospital after a lengthy struggle with Scleroderma. Loving wife of Kenneth (deceased), very special Mom of Kent, proud Gram of Kevin and Julie Allen, cherished Aunt of Shelley and Jim Sharpen and Grandma Med of Luke Sharpen. Marion is now resting at J. S. Jones and Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd at Maple Avenue in Georgetown (905 877 3631). Family and friends may call on Wednesday March 20th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Her funeral service is on Thursday March 21st, in the Chapel at 11am. Marion and Ken loved golf and shared the passion of their lives together for 30 years on the course and off. She had 3 holes-in-one, all at her home course and always had some exciting stories and lots of fun with her golf buddies to share. Marion loved all her family dearly and she will be sadly missed. A heartfelt thank you to her dedicated caregivers and close friends, Joan, Marny and Janis who loved her and gave their time, energy and unfailing support selflessly. The family would like to pass along our thanks to the staff of Southbrook, Brampton Civic Hospital and the many other friends that provided her with wonderful care and compassion during her extended illness. Family and friends are invited to join us for a celebration of Marion's life, at North Halton Golf Club, following the service in the Chapel.
