Marijan Zdravko Burazin

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, brother in law and uncle - Marijan Zdravko Burazin. He is greeted in heaven by his father Mate. Zdravko is mourned by his loving mother Milenka, brother Branko, sister in law Kim, sister Mirjana, brother in law Frank and his nieces and nephews Nikolina, Johnny, Bryce and Ella. His life was enriched by his aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, kumovi and friends.

Zdravko always lived life on his terms; he could be stubborn and was tough on the exterior but deep down to those of us closest to him, he was loving, caring and loyal. We will miss his text messages, one liners and his ability to crack a joke at the most inappropriate time.

Zdravko was a big kid at heart and as such loved nothing more than spending time with his nieces and nephews. During any family get together, he would immediately seek them out get down on the ground and play with them for hours. He was so proud of them . They will miss him immeasurably.

Zdravko never backed down from a fight and cancer was no exception. In June of 2022 he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He endured a 12 hour surgery and several rounds of chemo and radiation. Despite it all, the cancer returned. The same cancer that took his father five months earlier.

We find comfort knowing his suffering has ended and he is reunited with his father, Mate.

We will always remember you and forever love you

The family would like to thank the Harrison family for all of the love and support during his most difficult days, most of all his sister in law Kim who helped care for him during his final days .

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Croatian Martyrs Parish, 4606 Mississauga Road, Mississauga on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Georgetown.
