Marie Jarvis

Jarvis, Marie - passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Brampton Civic Hospital. Marie, in her 74th year, will be lovingly remembered by her son David and his wife Cheri, granddaughter Alexandra, and son Kevin and his wife Jenny. Dearest sister of Verna (Terry Doig) and Linda Hollis. Marie is missed by her closest friend Pauline Stubbington. A talented artisan, whose many crafts, including Rug Hooking and Teddy Bears were award winning fixtures at local fall fairs. Marie was an avid gardener, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be fondly remembered by the many students that she drove to school in Caledon and Brampton for forty years. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, N. of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905)877-3631, on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Marie's Life will take place on Friday at Trinity Anglican Church, 3515 King Street, Campbell's Cross, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Peel or ALS Canada would be greatly appreciated.
