Bukovcan, Marica - Peacefully with her family by her side, Marica Bukovcan, in her 67th year, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Beloved wife of Drago. Loving mother of Robert (Janet), Daniel (Noriyo) and Michael. Proud Baka of Andy, Maya, Brielle and newborn twins (March 4, 2017) Victoria and Daniel. Marica was born in Zagraci, Croatia, the daughter of the late Mijo Jakovcic and late Dorka Barsic. Loving sister of Ivan Jakovcic and the late Barka Skarjak After immigrating to Canada in 1971, Marica worked for Northern Telecom until retirement. A friend to many, she will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. (Holy Rosary to commence at 8:00 p.m.). A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Parish, 14400 Argyll Road, in Georgetown on Monday, March 13 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
