Peacefully, on Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Georgetown Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Maria, in her 81st year, beloved wife of the late Artur de Fraga (2004). Loving mother of Emily (Jorge) Botelho, Lucy (Joe) Esteireiro, Margie Hagen and Anne (Corey) Stewart. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Maria Domingos and Eduarda Domingos. Predeceased by her sister Lurdes Estrela.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Monday August 27th from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Rd., on Tuesday August 28, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
