Galvao, Maria des Neves - Peacefully, at home in the presence of her family, on January 19th, 2022. Maria, in her 90th year, wife of the late Hermano Galvao (1997). Loving mother of Hermanda (Mandy) Galvao and her husband David McKee. Loved sister of Maria Estrella. Predeceased by her sister Maria Olivia and by her brother Manuel. Beloved aunt and Godmother to many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Sunday January 23rd, 2022
from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Monday January 24th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Foundation or the Parkinson Foundation would be appreciated. In accordance with the family's wishes and provincial Covid-19 regulations, everyone must call the funeral home to register and provide proof of vaccination to attend the visitation on Sunday.
