Sadly Margaret lost her battle with cancer on September 19, 2015 at Georgetown Hospital. Margaret leaves behind her loving husband Howie, her children Tom (Nicky), Colin, Corey, Jodie and Jackson. She was a beloved Nana to Jonathon, Kendra, Angel, Maiya and Eleni.
She was the loving daughter of the late John and Mary Shortt, and the adored sister to John (Donna), Eileen (Kevin), Richard (Sinead), Mary (Allan), Michael (Carol) and Kathleen.
She will be sadly missed by her mother-in-law, Yvonne, and sister-in-law, Donna Marie (Mike). She will also be missed by her father-in-law, Jim (Doris). She will be sorely missed by her dear friend, Anna Lynn. Margaret will be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as many friends and colleagues.
Visitation to take place Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm and Wednesday, September 23, 10 - 11 am. Service will follow at 11:00 in the chapel at the J.S.
