Margaret Charlotte Christina Mcclure

McClure (nee Alexander), Margaret- Peacefully, on Monday May 16th, 2016 at Woodhall Park, Brampton, in her 92nd year. Margaret, beloved wife of the late Samuel McClure. Loving mother of Ross (Jeannine), Sam (Linda), Douglas (Shelly) and Marilyn McMahon (Bryan). Proud grandmother of Jennifer (Trevor Perry), Susan, Amanda, Victoria, Megan, Emily, Nicole, Amy, Sarah and Katelyn and great-grandmother of Cole. Survived by her siblings Bill, Douglas, Jessie and Stuart. Predeceased by Isabelle, John, Mary, Robert and Craig. Margaret was a longtime member of Norval Presbyterian Church and the Women's Missionary Society (WMS). She enjoyed her career in education which started in a one room schoolhouse at Whaley's Corner and continued for life. She was an accomplished artist and a published author. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday May 18th, from 6-9 pm.
