Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday December 19, 2022, at her home in Acton. Marg, in her 94th year, wife of the late Phil Carney (2005). Loving mother of Danny (Connie), Michael (Tina), Elizabeth Inglis Rose (David), David (Eva), Yvonne (Brent) Hamelin, Susan (Don) Corcoran, Mary (Brad) Kruger and Julie (Duff) McGillivray. Loving grandma of Apryl, Rebecca, Kate, Chad, Jenna, Jennifer, Allison, Adrianne, Hillary, Virginia, Jeffery, Jodi, Bryan, Matthew, Chris, Joshua, Nolan, Jacob, and Charlie. Great grandma of Emmaline, Maria, Mack, Bridget, Oskar, Teddy, James, Maggie, Liliana, Henry, Lucas, Thomas, Peyton and Trent. Dear Sister of Mary Curley of Ottawa, Allan (Grace) Beeney of Alma and Tommy Beeney of Meaford. Predeceased by her sisters Suzie and Theresa and by her brothers Edgar, Paul, Robert, Billy, and George. Marg will forever be remembered for her green thumb, her culinary abilities, but most of all, for her kind and gentle nature. She was a friend to all she met and a true example of how to live a life full of grace and love.

Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Wednesday December 28, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Thursday December 29, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the hall.
