Maisie Miller

Miller, Maisie - Age 97 - Peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday May 11, 2025 at the Georgetown Hospital.

Maisie was born on April 25, 1928 in the county of Yorkshire, England to parents Arthur and May Lorriman. She emigrated

to Canada as an infant, with her parents and older sister Amelia, settling in the Georgetown, Ontario area.

Maisie graduated from Georgetown District High School, was employed by the Barber Paper Mill until its closing, and then cherished

her new role working in the kitchen at the Georgetown Hospital.

Maisie married and was the beloved wife of Tom Miller until his passing in 2014. Her 60 year union with Tom and being a devoted Aunt and Great Aunt were the great joys of her life. She will be remembered as being a loyal, generous and loving wife, sister and aunt with a flair for house keeping and a spotless home!

Maisie is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and May Lorriman, and by her siblings Millie (Ed) Shubert, Sylvia Lorriman and Benny Lorriman.  She is survived by her sister-in-law Jean Lorriman, her niece Cindy Lorriman, her nephews Jeff and Steve (Karen) Lorriman and her great nephew Dylan Lorriman.

Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Glen Williams Cemetery.
