Madeleine Gassner

GASSNER, Madeleine Anne- Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Madeleine Gassner (nee Copsey) passed away on Saturday September 12th, 2015 from a brief battle with lung disease at Georgetown Hospital. In her 76th year, she leaves behind her husband Bill of 54 years, daughters Melitta Hannon (Shawn) and Karen Flannagan (Mark). She was a cherished grandmother of Michelle and Julia Hannon, Christopher Gassner-Petch, Travis, Tyler and Alyssa Flannagan and great grandmother to Hunter Petch. She was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and George Copsey, and the youngest of 11 children, all of England. Madeleine will be greatly missed by the many family and friends whose lives she touched. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday September 19th, at The Hannons, 39 Apple Blossom Cres from 11am to 4pm.
