It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Toni Lynne Cormier after a long and valiant battle with Alzheimer's Disease, in her 78th year, at Centenary Hospital in Scarborough, Ontario. Lynne will be missed by husband Wayne, sons Craig (Dawn) and Jeff (Amy), granddaughters Emily and Olivia, siblings Mark (Charol), Susan, Brian, and Jackie (Glenn), as well as extended family in Ontario and beyond. Predeceased by parents Fred and Velda Carlo.
Lynne will be best remembered for her love of cooking, sewing (she always had a project on the go), watching her beloved Leafs and Blue Jays, music, and, of course, family. You could count on seeing her at the many concerts, plays, events and sporting events put on by or involving her sons and grandchildren. She was also a huge Carol Burnett fan, and loved to laugh.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown on Friday January 10th, 2025 from 12:00 pm until time of Funeral Service held in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Lynne will be buried near family, at Greenwood Cemetery in Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to your local branch of the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
Lynne's family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Centenary Hospital for their care in her final weeks. Their work will be forever appreciated.
