Peacefully, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario, of Louis Gyula Patkai, aged 61. Born September 26, 1956, in Budapest, Hungary, as Lajos Gyula Pecsenka, he moved to Canada with his family in 1971 and resided in Mississauga, Ontario. He leaves behind his son, Dustin Patkai (Heather), his daughter, Kristi Patkai Webber (Michael), his brother, Julius (Gyula) Patkai (Jolee), his nephews Evan Patkai (Merridyth), Dane Patkai (Naomi), and Jace Patkai. Also left behind are numerous cousins in Hungary and United States. Predeceased by his father, Lajos Rudolf Patkai, and his mother, Veronica Barbara Patkai (Gyarmati)
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
