Lorraine Margaret Cummings
November 15, 1963 — December 4, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Margaret Cummings, who left us peacefully on December 4, 2025, at the age of 62.
Born in St Johns, Newfoundland, Lorraine later made her home in Brampton, Ontario, where she built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and the love of family. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mildred Cummings (2021). Step daughter to Lynda Cummings. She was a devoted mother to her three children: Paul, Steven (Laila), and Melissa (Gorden), and loved sister Chris (Art) who will forever carry her strength and love within their hearts.
Lorraine had a caring spirit and a creative soul. She found joy in baking and cooking, always ready to share something warm and made with love. Her home was never without the company of cats, Dio and Lui, as well as the late Boomer, which she adored and treated as part of the family. She enjoyed the comfort of country music, and her heart came alive every Christmas — a season she embraced with true excitement and joy.
She was raised in faith and carried its values with her throughout her life, even if she did not actively practice later on. Her kindness, generosity, and quiet resilience touched the lives of everyone around her.
A Celebration of Lorraine’s Life will be held at Br. #120 Royal Canadian Legion, Georgetown on December 13, 2025 at 1pm - in the upstairs hall. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who gave so much to those she loved.
Lorraine will be deeply missed, but the love she gave and the memories she created will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in peace and be forever remembered.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
