Cox, Lorne Edward- Peacefully on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 in the presence of his family at the Bennett Health Care Centre, Georgetown. Lorne, in his 89th year, beloved husband of Doris "Dorie" (nee McCartney) for 70 years. Loving father of Dave and his wife Dale, Steve and his wife Janie and Lorii and her husband Brian Myers. Proud grandfather of Grant (Helen), Tracy (Brian), Terry (Brian) and Jill (Ryan). Predeceased by his sisters Kathleen, Dorothy, Gladys and June and by his brother George. Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Trafalgar Room. Cremation.
