Lois Lawlor

Lois Lawlor (Cordingley) of Acton, ON-  Passed away on March 19, 2023 in her 81st year. She is predeceased by her husband and favorite lifetime golf partner Dwight. Her eldest daughter Shelley and her sister Marilyn and brothers Tom and Bob Cordingley. She leaves behind her brother Ted (Nancy) daughter Tami, son in-law Mike and grandchildren, Melyssa, Paige, Mason, Meghan and Jayson. Lois also leaves behind Alex a nephew that she shared a special bond with. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends

Lois was a private, devoted and strong woman who loved her close-knit circle. Her greatest passion outside of her family was golf. She loved the game of golf but most loved the competition and friendships that she made along the way. In the 90's Lois and Dwight spent a great deal of time travelling around the United States playing golf and sometimes 36 holes just because they liked the course or the strangers they met along the way. To know Lois and Dwight was to admire the way they treated each other and the love they shared both on the course and in everyday life. After Dwight’s passing, golf was just not the same.

Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Lois's life on Saturday May 6, 2023 from 1-4pm at Jones Family Funeral Home - 11582 Trafalgar Road, to share stories and memories of her beautiful soul.
