Lloyd Sandison Cockburn

COCKBURN, Lloyd Sandison August 30, 1961 - September 24, 2020 Lloyd Cockburn, husband, father, grandfather, Mechanical Engineer, Electrician, "dad that could fix anything", and "big loveable gentle giant", passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 24th at the age of 59.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, George and his mother, Margaret. Lloyd is loved and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 35 years, Susan Cockburn (nee Mckay), his children Steven(Stephanie), Victoria, Keith, grand children Charlotte and Jacob, his brother Alan and extended family in Canada and Scotland.
Lloyd had a wonderful sense of humour, was dependable, and always willing to support his family and friends. Lloyd loved to travel abroad over the years and go camping with his loving family. Lloyd is fondly remembered by his family, friends, colleagues and those who had a chance to interact with him over the years.
A Memorial Service to honour Lloyd's life will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. (Covid distancing and mask mandate in effect). In memory contributions to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be appreciated.
