Leon Joseph Larocque

Larocque, Leon Joseph - It's with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Larocque family announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of Leon Joseph Larocque on November 15th, 2016 at the Georgetown Hospital. Leon, in his 73rd year, the beloved husband of Viola for a wonderful and memorable 53 years. Leon was the loving father of Jeanette, Michel (Nancy) and William (Lisa). Leon was the very proud grandfather to Daniel and Jessica, David and Dylan and Josie Larocque. Leon will be so very fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters and all extended family and friends. Leon was an amazing gift from God that was loaned to us for a journey that we all shared with him in a different way. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your incredible kindness and support during this time. Thank you to the nursing staff at Georgetown Hospital and Dr. Barron, Dr. Browning, Dr. Chawla, Dr. Uddin and Dr. J Ying. Thank you to the fantastic home health care workers whose support was greatly appreciated. A special thanks also to the many individuals from the CCAC Halton. Leon's huge heart will be missed by everyone. A Mass will be held at the Sacre-Coeur Church (39 Guelph St., Georgetown) on Saturday November 19th at 11 am followed by a reception.
