Leo Nelissen

Nelissen, Leo- Born May 22nd, 1925 in Helden, Holland peacefully passed on Saturday February 1st, 2014 at his home in Georgetown, surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Elizabeth for 62 years. Dear father of Anna Downton (the late Bill), Greg (Bev), Peter (Jacqueline) and predeceased by his son Gerry (Kim) Nelissen. Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Paul) Abrams, Veronica Downton, Andrew (Ashley) Nelissen, Amanda, Rachael and Samantha Nelissen. He will be deeply missed by his three great-grandsons, Aaden & Austin Nelissen and Saxon Abrams. Cherished brother of Sjack, Graad, Winn, Beta and Mien. Predeceased by Lien, Tina and Donnie. Friends will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday February 4, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday February 5, 2014 at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
