Laura Rose Kelch

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura on January 2, 2025 in her 72nd year. Laura is predeceased by her loving mother and father Doris and Sylvester.

Beloved Mother to Gregory (Lily) and Dan, Laura was the younger sister to Lynn, Aunt to Jeff, Lisa and great Aunt to Shelby.

Laura lived an exquisite and blessed life travelling the world in her younger years. She always had wonderful stories of her experiences and adventures. Later in life, Laura enjoyed spending her days playing bingo…we are not sure if she enjoyed winning or spending time with her dear friends more!

Laura was a wonderful mother to her two sons. Be it all the hockey nights and travel or baseball tournaments around southern Ontario and the northern United States. She always put her son’s needs and wishes ahead of her own. Her love, guidance and kindness will be terribly missed.

As someone very dear to Laura described her

“She was the kindest, most fierce person I’ve ever known”

A celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the upper credit humane society .

SHE IS GONE

You can shed a tear that she is gone.

Or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back.

Or open your eyes and see all that she has left.

Our hearts can be empty because you can’t see her.

Or you can be full of the love that you shared.

You can turn your back on Tomorrow and live yesterday.

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she is gone.

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back.

Or you can do what she would want.

Smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
