Laird Michael Osborne Jacobs,
After a courageous battle, on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at the Bennett Health Care Centre, Georgetown with his family by his side. Laird, in his 71st year, beloved husband of Jessie for the past 46 years. Loving father of Michael and his wife Kelly, Lisa Frank and her husband Jamie and the late Shane Jacobs. Cherished grandpa of Sarah, Emily, Kori and Kyle and great-grandpa of Joshua and Faith. Dear brother of Bart and his wife Patti and Keith and his wife Mieke. Laird will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews; Medori, Jillian, Bart, Dylan and Jason.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd., north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday December 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
