Korhonen, Kirsti Liisa- It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Kirsti passed away in the presence of her family early Sunday morning, May 19th, 2019 at the Georgetown Hospital. Kirsti, in her 78th year, beloved wife of Viljo for 54 years. Loving mother of Karen (Petri) and Sam (Anita). Loved grandmother (Mummi) of David (Caitlyn), Adam, Miia and Jordan. Great-grandmother (Iso-Mummi) of Elijah. Kirsti was the youngest of 15 children and is fondly remembered by her dear sister Aili in Canada and will be sadly missed by her sisters Lahja, Elli, Aune, Taimi and Pirkko and their families in Finland. Friends and family will be received at Bayview Family Church (2570 Bayview Avenue, North York, ON) on Saturday May 25th, 2019 with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., and service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Norval.
