Kimberly (Murphy) Faria

Faria (Murphy) Kimberly – It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. After a year long battle with cancer, Kim in her 50 ^th year succumbed to her illness on August 16, 2022 at the Georgetown Hospital with her family by her side. Although she fought fierce and hard it was a battle that she was not able to win.

Loving wife to Peter Faria and a loving Mother to Zachary, Jessica and Brooklyn. Leaving to mourn her parents Roslyn and Paul Murphy and her brother Terry of Georgetown. Father-in-law Stanley (Sophia) Faria of Wasaga, Mother-in-law Ingrid Colwell of Scarborough. Brother-in-laws John (Michelle) Faria of Georgetown, Andrew Faria of Barrie, Sister-in-laws Sharlyn (Jamie) Martin and family of London, Stephanie (Rick) Dumont of Toronto. Nieces Eryn and Noelani Faria. Kim will be missed by her many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Co-workers and Neighbors.

Sincere gratitude goes to all the staff at the Georgetown Hospital and the Palliative Care team for their kindness, help and compassion shown to the Faria and Murphy family during this very difficult time. Kim’s family would also like to thank the staff at the Credit Valley Hospital for their excellent care.

Friends will be received at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Monday August, 22, 2022 from 11am to 2pm with a memorial service at 2:00pm
