With great sadness we announce Ken Halsall’s passing after a long battle with many illnesses. Predeceased by his wife Barbara, sister Janis, and parents Stanley and Esther. Ken is survived by his son Michael, daughter Jennifer, grandchildren Cora and Nathan, his niece and nephew Debby and Greg, his sister-in-law Margery, and Wisconsin friend Judy. Born in Winnipeg, Ken met his wife, Barbara, while in Quebec at McGill U. They developed lifelong friends dubbed the “Habitant Hustlers” that met yearly at Grey Cup for over 40 years. They settled in Georgetown and Ken had a long career working at Husky Injection in Bolton. He was an active runner, enjoyed golf and sailing, and was active in St. John’s United Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lupus Ontario or St. John’s United Church would be appreciated. A service/reception will be held at St. John’s United Church from 1-4pm on September 21, 2024. Cremation has taken place.
