Keith John Tracey 1938 – 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith John Tracey, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, Ontario, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 87.

Born in Georgetown, Keith proudly served his country as a Navy veteran in the 1960s before building a career as a steel worker with American Hoist. Known for his strength, dedication, and sense of humor, Keith was a pillar of his family and community.

He was the beloved husband of Jean, and a proud father to Linda (Frank), Harold (Sharron), and Cheryl (Ron). Keith’s legacy lives on through his grandchildren Shaun, Scott, Sasha, Chance, and Jacob, and his 13 great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. He was predeceased by his father Louis, mother Flossie, brother Bob, and son-in-law Frank.

Keith was a long-time member of the Georgetown Legion Branch 120, where he shared countless stories and friendships. His love for family, service, and community will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Georgetown Legion in April 2026 (date to be determined). In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in Keith’s memory.

Keith will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
