Keith Coote

Coote, Keith – Peacefully, in his 68th year, on Saturday November 8, 2025 at his home in Georgetown with his beloved wife, Charlene, by his side. Loving father of Jordan (Noelly) and Jeremy (Amanda). Much loved Grumpas of Hayden, Jonas, Madeleine and Nora. Dear brother of Alana (Jeff), Scott (Robin) and Brett (Allison). Dear brother-in-law of Mildred (Lewis), Valerie (Stephen), Irma (Jean-Pierre), Lucille (Charlie) and Teresa (Bob). Keith will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Elwin and Marjorie Coote and his in-laws Orvis and Grace Taylor. Keith’s passion was carpentry and he had been a carpenter at Ford in Oakville for many years before retiring in 2021. He enjoyed all sports especially hockey and football and cheering on his favourite team, the Chicago Bears. Keith was a very kind, caring and loving storyteller who will be forever remembered for the love he had for his family especially his precious grandchildren. A Celebration of Keith’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sick Kids Foundation would be appreciated.
