Kathlyn Robertson

ROBERTSON, Kathlyn (Kay) Eugenie (nee Bolger) March 16, 1913 - July 19, 2014.
Passed away peacefully with family by her side in her 102nd year on Saturday July 19th, 2014 at ExtendiCare (Georgetown). Loved wife of the late Ernest James (Robbie) Robertson (1986), beloved mother of Janice Rumsey, Grandmother to Christine Rumsey (Harry Tittelmeier), David Rumsey (Ellen), and Jennifer Baptie (Daniel). She will be dearly missed by her seven great-granddaughters Kylene Engleby and Emily Tittelmeier, Eryn and Gillian Rumsey, Amanda, Meghan and Laura Baptie. Predeceased by her parents, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Kay was born in Manchester, England and emigrated to Canada in 1949 with her husband Robbie and their young daughter, Janice. She enjoyed a lifelong passion for painting, pottery and especially gardening. Rest well Kay/Mum/Granny, we will miss you. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Friday, July 25th, from 1pm until the time of the funeral service at 2pm in the chapel. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
