Kathleen Quinn (nee Murray)
Kathleen was born in South Shields, U.K, to Norman Murray and Catherine Murray (nee Hunt) was the eldest of three children Norman and Amelia/Millie.
Kathleen and Michael where married on June 20, 1959 at St. Gregory’s R.C in Harton, South Shields. A marriage in which there recently celebrated 60 years. Fondest memories of trips to the U.K, Italy, Canada, and U.S.
Kathleen was a devoted wife to Michael and loving mother to sons Sean, Gerard, Stephen, and Laurence. She was a grandmother of eight (Michael, Jillian, Andrew, David, Meghan, Liam, Rachael, and Aidan)
She emigrated to Canada in July 1979, with husband Michael and four sons.
Kathleen later worked as an R.N. at Vera Davis retirement facility in Bolton, Ontario, for 20 years until her retirement in 1998.
Kathleen recently passed away on July 29, 2019 of P.S.P/Parkinson’s at Tall Pines retirement facility in Brampton.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown. (905) 877-3631 on Saturday September 21, 2019 from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. for both Michael and Kathleen.
