Karen Elizabeth Watson

September 7th, 1948, to October 16th, 2021 It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen Elizabeth Watson. A wonderful woman who devoted her life to her love of family and friends. Beloved wife of 52 years to Michael John Watson. Amazing mother to Derek, Lisa (Rick), Terry (Nikki). The world's best Nana to Brianna, Vanessa, Brooke, Julian, and Lexi. As an avid gardener, blessed with a green thumb, Karen's passion for life was endless. When faced with the challenges of breast cancer, Karen handled herself with such bravery, grace and dignity. While we watched, as Alzheimer's tried to change our Karen, she reminded us of her love for music and dance.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget. Karen just danced. With all our love; Welcome to the Hotel Heaven Mom, such a lovely person Nana, such a lovely face. Plenty of room at the Hotel Heaven, Any time of year, you will find us here. You can take it easy now Karen. We love you endlessly. Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday October 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
