Karen Sheila Mceachern

My beautiful wife and best friend, Karen McEachern, passed away in my arms on Friday, September 30 at 9:30 PM after a valiant struggle since March 9. She was 78 and we have been married for 58 wonderful years. We have 2 wonderful children, Julie (Kyle Edwards) and David, and a wonderful grandson Ethen Edwards. She had so many strikes against her; 2 strokes, 2 surgeries after the first stroke, Muscular Dystrophy, heart and lung failure from Muscular Dystrophy, as well as unable to stand so she was bed fast, or wheel chair bound. I never heard her complain once, and she always had a smile as well as a quiet sense of humour. There will not be a funeral. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced soon.
