Karanjit Singh Toor

Karanjit Singh Toor, 71, of Brampton, Ontario, passed away on December 2nd, 2020. He was lovingly referred to as ‘Bubby' by family and friends. Karanjit was born to Kartar Singh Toor (Father) and Gurdial Kaur (Mother) on the 15th of March, 1949 in Dham Kuddi, India. He immigrated permanently to Canada, on June 26th, 1981. After finishing high school, Karanjit enlisted in the Indian Air Force and served for 15 years where he retired as a Parachuting Instructor. He represented the army in sporting events while serving and won numerous medals in track and field. Karanjit worked in the automotive industry and after 31 years of service, he retired from Chrysler Canada's Brampton Assembly Plant in April 2018. Some of Karanjit's favourite pastimes were spending time with family, attending social gatherings, dancing, and going for many walks with his dogs. He was also a dedicated volunteer of the Sant Nirankari Mission. Karanjit Singh Toor wed Amrit Mann on March 10th, 1985 in Mohali, Punjab, India. Together, they raised 3 children: Navita, Suchie, Pooja. Karanjit Singh Toor is survived by Amrit Toor (Wife), Navita Toor (Daughter), Veer Arjun Bains (Son-In-Law) & Suchie Toor Bains (Daughter), Pooja Toor (Daughter), Teddy & Tommy (Dog Babies). The family has entrusted Jones Funeral Home of Georgetown, Ontario with the final arrangements. A Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 11th, 2020.
